So I finished this monster up the other day... I had to paint him old school because of a compressor malfunction so I couldn't airbrush him.
I spent the better part of 5 days painting on the Stormwall. Since he is Cygnar it was decided that he had to be on a trench works base from Secret Weapon Miniatures. and I think it was a really good choice. This is an epic model and yeah the Colossals carry an epic price tag so far what I have seen they have been beautiful models. I just got the Conquest for my own Khador army in the mail today so I am going to do an unboxing and review for him soon.
But first... I unleash the STORMWALL!!!
So here we are... one day before leave time for Chicago and I just wanted to post up one last post of a painted model before we go. This time around I decided to post up eHaley. I am super proud of the way that this model turned out. I personally like her better than the eStryker model that I painted up a while back for the team army. There are several more models that have been painted here in the studio and I will get pictures of them up eventually. This one was a bit of an accomplishment if you ask me because she was painted around us having a tornado here in town. But with that aside I also have some great news... at the beginning of the the Warmachine project that I set out on I was determined to for both me and my teammate to go to Adepticon withfully painted armies... and both armies were new to us. Well over the last 3 weeks I have managed to not only finish of my Khador but I also got all the Cygnar done too. Both armies have around 115 models in them... totaling out to over 200 points a piece. I went back and looked at the calender to see how many days I spent on both armies since I started painting on them both... and the number of days just on warmachine is 6 weeks. I feel that is really impressive...

More Cygnar that I have helped out with for my teammate. This time its Stormclad...
So with all the Khador done I have set my sights on helping my teammate get his Cygnar done... that and I really wanted to paint Thunderhead.
So in an effort to help my partner get his Cygnar done for Adepticon I decided to pitch in a little and help with some of his painting (even though I am not quite done with my Khador), and I painted one of his Journeyman Casters for him. I really like the way that she turned out. In fact I think she might be one of the best pieces I have painted yet.

Just more models for the Cygnar half of Team Rolling Thunder. This is so we can try out some list variants to see what works best.
And the first model painted in 2012 is... a Cygnar Squire... this was a really fun model because lets face it... it is kinda cute... but when you read its stats... all I have to say is damn.
Thats right folks... I am officially done with the original list for the Team event army. This army is going to be making an appearance at Adepticon in April if everything goes according to plan.
Also... I am going to take a short break so I can spend time with family. So the studio is going to go on a very short break and will be opened back up on January 2nd. If you want to inquire about commission work just shoot me an email and I will still get back with you. I'm just not planning on touching a paintbrush until January. Its been a great year... I got to paint some awesome projects including painting a Reaver Titan from Forge World. But Expect to see some interesting moves after the first of the year... cause the studio is partnering up with a podcast and distributor for some interesting deals. So stay tuned... 2012 is going to be a HUGE YEAR!
